When I was in 7th grade, the really cool place to go to was the LAYC Center near Downtown Los Altos. It was cool because it’s where the LAYC Youth Dances were held. You’d pay 8 bucks, find your friends amongst the crowd of 7th graders and then stand around awkwardly listening to Papa Roach and The Hamster Dance song. Now I can say with assurance that my return to the LAYC will be much more dignified and with greater purpose. Tomorrow night we are playing an hour long set as part of a benefit for an elementary school in Haiti. Please come out if you can and Feel Tha Noize.
