Well, our Operation Westcoast Rumble Tour with PK is officially over as of last night. PK played an amazing very Punk show in the basement of the Retox lounge in SF. It was an amazing show, and even though Picture Atlantic wasn’t there to play the show, we had a blast singing along and rocking out along side the other stoked crowd members.
Overall the tour really took us in Picture Atlantic for a surprising ride. Looking back, every show was absolutely fantastic in its own ways, and it made it all the better that we got to watch PK play every night. I’d especially like to say a huge thank you to our Fresno and San Jose hometown crowd, because you guys really came out and made the nights amazing, and we wouldn’t have been able to do this tour with out you guys. A huge thank you to Jesse Kennedy, Corie from SLO Brew, Josh White, Elmo Jams at Cinespace, Joey & all the guys in From Indian Lakes, Eric Fanali, Adam & Chelsea, Sol Rodriguez, Abuela Roa & Abuela Annie, Lucy Sotelo, Caitlin Bartunek, Stephanie & Anna, Sarah Anderson, Olivia for your awesome cooking, CoCo The Evil Wizard, Sandy for barking all night, Davey for being a better dog, Jess and Martha Rodriguez for continuing to inspire younger generations with your Godly and unconditional love for each other, Hazel and Vine, Caroline & Lily, Jonrey, Alison, Adi, Matthew Beringer for keeping me sane,Lil’ Horchata, Patricia & Ron & Ivana & Victoria, Jesus, and God for making this entire tour possible. We owe you more than our wallets or hearts could repay. This tour was the most fun we’ve ever had on the road, we think, and we are blessed to have shared it with the people that we did. We will try our hardest to come back to you all very soon.
As for the amazing news: We are going to release a new album at the end of the year. This is going to be a fun one for us, as we got to lay down some songs that we have had to keep on the back burner for a while. All the details will be announced later, but let it be known that we aren’t going to stop release music! And I think we mentioned in an earlier post that we took a day on tour to record with our friend Sahab Hobab. The song we recorded will be up soon for free download (Mixing takes a while people), and was actually a song that didn’t make it on to this new EP due to time constraints, so this will be exciting for us, and hopefully for you.
We love you all, and be blessed in your end of summer activities!
