Picture Atlantic are an alternative rock band with an explosive sound and an open hearted approach to songcraft. With hints of Muse, Blur and The Killers, their youthful exuberance is apparent on every track. Vocalist and guitarist Nikolaus Bartunek is a true standout, leading the way with his striking vocal style and erratic, supercharged performances. Bassist Ryan Blair carves out a rhythmic, groovy and powerhouse bass section, while drummer Daniel Martinez provides the backbone and creative driving force for each song.

Since their inception, the band has cultivated a passionate and devoted local fan base, becoming a staple of the Bay Area music scene and a regular on Live 105’s Soundcheck. They have performed alongside Coldplay, The English Beat, STYX, Say Anything, Eisley, Dan Black, Biffy Clyro, and FMLYBND, among others, and were named one of the Top 100 Best Unsigned Bands by AbsolutePunk.net.

Picture Atlantic’s newest release, Assouf, is a testament to the group’s ability to carve a unique and exciting sound. The band are currently touring and plan to release a music video for their upcoming single “With My By Myself” in early 2016.
